Some Background...

Gruman Worldwide Limited had its beginnings in 1915 as a company involved in international trade between the United States and Europe.

Harry Gruman, the company's founder, joined by William Gruman, an attorney, continued these trade activities and expanded the business to include shipping and commodities trading, most significantly in the Caribbean and South America.

In 1978, William Gruman pioneered a department specializing in foreign recoveries as an outgrowth of his law practice. The firm was able to make use of the extensive overseas network of commercial and banking contacts, attorneys and government officials, that had been developed by both Harry Gruman and William Gruman.

In 1990, attorneys Perry Gruman and Eric Gruman joined the firm, expanding our presence in Europe and the Pacific Rim.
